Auxiliary contactor (contactor auxiliary blade) is a device that is connected to the contactor separately and is used in the control circuit. Contactors usually handle up to 600 amps or even higher and are used in power circuits, but auxiliary contactors are designed for currents up to 6 amps. By disconnecting and connecting the contactor, the auxiliary blades also move and change their position. The operation of the auxiliary blade is that when the contactor is stimulated by terminals A1 and A2, the blades that are normally NC (closed) open and the blades that are NO (open) are closed.

کنتاکتور کمکی (تیغه کمکی کنتاکتور) تجهیزی است که به‌صورت جداگانه به کنتاکتور متصل می‌شود و برای استفاده در مدار فرمان کاربرد دارد. کنتاکتور معمولاً تا ۶۰۰ آمپر یا حتی بالاتر را تحمل می‌کند و از آن در مدار قدرت استفاده می‌شود ولی کنتاکتور کمکی برای جریان‌های حداکثر 6 آمپر طراحی‌شده است. با قطع و وصل شدن کنتاکتور، تیغه‌های کمکی هم حرکت می‌کنند و تغییر وضعیت می‌دهند. عملکرد تیغه کمکی به این صورت است که با تحریک کنتاکتور توسط ترمینال‌های A1 و A2، تیغه‌هایی که در حالت عادی NC (بسته) هستند، باز می‌شوند و تیغه‌هایی که NO(باز) هستند، بسته می‌شوند.
